Lorenzo's Best of the Year

Looking back I realize a lot of my reading this year was centered on the body. How it is perceived, how it is treated, how it is liberated. The treasure of life and what is possible, the ongoing struggle for autonomy and equality, the hardships and joys that spring from existence, especially when existing in a body that is not considered the norm. These books helped me reconnect. They were exactly what I needed this year.
