Join us at Saint Vitus Bar in Greenpoint for our eighth annual Galentine's Day, hosted by Romance Book Club leader Maddie Caldwell and featuring authors Zoraida Córdova, Joanna Shupe, T.J. Alexander, Celestine Martin, and Maya Rodale. There'll be a panel discussion followed by games, trivia, and giveaways. Tickets are available below and include one drink, one romance novel plus raffle entry. We'll also have tons of romance for purchase at the event, including books by our featured authors, recommendations from our book club members, and the March and April book club picks. 

Tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another attendee up to 24 hours in advance of the event. 

ABOUT THE AUTHORS:

Zoraida Córdova is the acclaimed author of more than two dozen novels and short stories, including the Brooklyn Brujas series, Star Wars: The High Republic: Convergence, and The Inheritance of Orquídea Divina. In addition to writing novels, she serves on the board of We Need Diverse Books, and is the coeditor of the bestselling anthology Vampires Never Get Old, as well as the cohost of the writing podcast, Deadline City. She writes romance novels as Zoey Castile. Zoraida was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and calls New York City home. When she’s not working, she’s roaming the world in search of magical stories. 

USA Today Bestselling author Joanna Shupe has always loved history, ever since she saw her first Schoolhouse Rock cartoon. Since 2015, her books have appeared on numerous yearly “best of” lists, including Publishers Weekly, The Washington Post, Kirkus Reviews, Kobo, and BookPage. TJ Alexander, the critically acclaimed author of Chef’s Kiss and Chef’s Choice, writes about queer love. Originally from Florida, they received their MA in writing and publishing from Emerson College in Boston. They live in New York City with their wife and various houseplants.
 
A native of New Jersey, Celestine Martin writes whimsical and flirty paranormal romance that celebrates the beauty of everyday magic. She spent her formative years buying as many romance novels in bulk from the local secondhand bookstore. She’s inspired to write happily ever afters and happy for now endings starring the people and places close to her heart. When she’s not reading or writing, she enjoys organizing her massive sticker collection with her husband while spoiling their daughter in New York. Maya Rodale is the best-selling and award-winning author of funny, feminist fiction including historical romance, YA and historical fiction. A champion of the romance genre and its readers, she is also the author of Dangerous Books For Girls: The Bad Reputation of Romance Novels, Explained. Maya has reviewed romance for NPR Books and has appeared in Bustle, Glamour, Shondaland, Buzzfeed, The Huffington Post and PBS. She began reading romance novels in college at her mother’s insistence and has never been allowed to forget it.
